Triumph TR3 (1955-1962)
During the October 1955 London Motor Show, Standard-Triumph unveiled the TR3, with more horsepower than its precessor. An even more impressive milestone was their introduction of the first series-production car with disc front brakes, providing a competitive edge for those interested in racing.
By the 1961, over 75,000 had been sold, and the TR4 had just been introduced. Since the TR3 was still selling strong, Triumph continued production with the TR3B, made only for the USA. During the eight years of production, with 100 HP and a top speed of 109 MPH, the TR3-series earned a reputation for rugged and high performance.
